Water Classes

Come get in the pool in Poughkeepsie and try one of our Aqua classes!! All classes are taught in waist deep water and no swimming ability is needed. All fitness levels are wlecome and everyone is encouraged to exercise at their own pace.

 

Aqua Fitness

A water exercise class that is designed fortotal body conditioning. The waters natural buoyancy will minimize impact on your joints while its resistance will maximize the benefits of your every movement. Increase strength, flexibility, and endurance.

Aqua Arthritis

This water exercise program was developed by the Arthritis Foundation. The class consits of a series of specifically designed exercises that focus on improving and sustaining joint mobility, reducing pain and stiffness, and increasing strength, coordination and freedom of movement.
